David Frederick Driver

David Frederick Driver, age 72 of Rocky Mount passed away Thursday, September 24, 2026. He was born November 28, 1953, a son of the late Frederick and Anna Driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Bob Gillespie. Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Hester Sue Guilliams Driver; siblings, Annette and Rudy Taylor, Lanae Gillespie, Donovan and Sheri Driver; sister-in-law, Dorothy Payne; special friend and niece, Jackie Weddle; many nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Northside High School, Class of 1973. David was a caring and loving husband. Funeral services will be held at Fairview Church, 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2026. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Church of the Brethren Cemetery. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
