David Michael Leffue

David Michael Leffue, age 65, son of the late Clara Leffue Wray, George Thomas Leffue, and beloved step-father C. Ward Wray passed on Tuesday, September 17, 2013. He leaves behind his devoted wife of forty years, Karleen Hodges Leffue, and son, Justin David Leffue, the center of his universe. David is also survived by a loving brother, Glenwood A. Leffue and wife Judith, of Boones Mill. David?s family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the RNs and doctors on 6 Mountain VICU, Roanoke Memorial Hospital, for their tireless tender care and support. Special love is reserved for Helen Plybon, Garnet Barnes and Sunny Jones for their countless hours and days of support and guidance. He made many friends among the patients and staff at Fresenius Medical Care, Rocky Mount, Virginia. Thanks to them for their care. David wanted the employees and staff of Franklin County School System to know he truly loved his job and each person with whom he worked. Thanks for the memories. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2013, from 6 to 8 P.M. at Snow Creek Christian Church, 4970 Snow Creek Road, where services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 21, 2013, with Pastor Jim Compton officiating. In lieu of flowers, David and his family request that donations be made in his memory to The Good Doctor?s Foundation/Kidney Division, P. O. Box 1120, Ashland, VA 23005.
