David Lynn Hodges, age 38 of Rocky Mount died Monday, November 5, 2007 in a Roanoke hospital.
David was employed by MarKim Erection Company, Graham, North Carolina where he had worked for approximately 22 years.
He will be missed by his family and many friends and remembered for his love of children, pets and his passion for the confederacy.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffery Hodges; and his grandparents, George and Eula Hodges and Harvey and Pokey Hudson.
David is survived by his parents, Roy and Frances Hodges, Rocky Mount; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jackie and Kim Hodges, Glade Hill, Joey and Emma Hodges, Utah, Keith (Mule) and Diann Hodges, North Carolina; nephews, Joshua and Seth; nieces, Melissa and Nicole; step nieces, Elena and Kristal; step nephew, Justin; many aunts, uncles and numerous friends including his special friend Timmy Keatts.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor John Collins and Rev. Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in the Hodges-Lynch Family Cemetery.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Wednesday with his family receiving friends from 7 to 9 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 S. Main St., Rocky Mount, VA 24151
