David Keith Mccallister

David Keith McCallister, 87 years old passed away on May 22, 2018 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. He lived at Smith Mountain Lake, Penhook, VA for the past 25 years with his wife Marti who preceded him in death 2 months ago. “Shiner" as he was affectionally known on the lake was a U.S. Air Force veteran and an avid fisherman. Surviving family members include a son, John-Thomas; step-son, Stuart Williams; and sister, Carol Salvati of Gig Harbor, WA. His memorial service will be held at Penhook United Methodist Church (29 Morgan’s Fork Rd) on Saturday June 23th at 11:00 a.m .
