David Wayne Ramey

David Wayne Ramey, 59 of Rocky Mount passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born October 22, 1959 in Wise County, VA to the late Tommy and Maxie Collins Ramey; he was also preceded in death by his brother, Carl Junior Ramey. David is survived by his wife, that was his life of 22 years, Barbara Orum Ramey; sons, David Ramey, Eddie Ramey, Jimmy (Sam) Ramey, Josh (Amber) Ramey and Timmie (Cassie) Ramey; step-sons, Michael (Heather) Shuman, Matthew Shuman, Norman (Angie) Shuman; someone special that David thought of as his daughter, Renee (Collins) Clark; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Pamela (Charlie) Branham; brothers, Jerry (Joyce) Ramey, Charles Ivan (Christy) Ramey, Tommy Ray (Brenda) Ramey; many aunts , uncles and cousins that he loved very much; also the many friends at Asplundh Tree Company and Dudley’s Truck Stop Restaurant. Services will be private. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
