David James Riker, age 49 of Rocky Mount died Tuesday, January 23, 2007.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving from 1976 – 1979.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Lenn Riker and Doris Marie Roberts Riker Bentley; a brother, Allen Daniel Riker; two uncles, Ronald and Bruce Riker.
He is survived by his beloved wife Loretta Riker; stepson Benjamin Crews; three daughters April Lynn McKibbin, Heidi Marie Riker, Rocky Mount and Erika Jean Riker, Bruceton Mills, West Virginia; several grandchildren Jaquie Lynn McKibbin, Rebecca Marie McKibbin, Lianna Brooke McKibbin, Shelly Ann McKibbin, Wesley Denzel Riker, Jasrielle Patterson, Jawuan Isaac Patterson, Hailey Charne’ Wade, Daveon Lavar Wade, Nyshelle Sorin Jacole Mattox and Nyhera Serenity Jade Mattox; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
David will be remembered for being a beloved and patient husband, father and grandfather. Services will be private.
