David Lewis Willie, age 54 of Callaway died Monday, December 17, 2007 at his home.
He was born March 8, 1953 a son of the late Thurman L. and Emily Voight Willie.
David was an electrician for 30 years and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He was a kind and loving husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by all.
Surviving are his loving wife of 34 years, Brenda Joyce Willie; daughters and son-in-law, Crystal Michelle and Kevin Joyce, Brenda Willie and William Milton; grandchildren, Caleb Joyce, Mackenzie Joyce, Gina Wyatt and Cole Milton; brother and sister-in-law, Thurman, Jr. and Christine Willie; nephews, Darren Willie and Randy Willie; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Funeral services will be conducted from Ebenezer Baptist Church 2 p.m. Thursday with Dr. William R. Shively officiating. Interment will follow in the Wright Family Cemetery.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday with his family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
