Deborah Faye "Debbie" Haynes

Deborah Faye “Debbie” Haynes, age 69 of Snow Creek died Wednesday, October 9, 2024. She was born November 2, 1954 and was preceded in death by her sister, Kay W. Boyd. Debbie was a beloved mother and grandmother. Her love for her grandchildren was unmatched. She was a devoted member of Snow Creek Christian Church for more than 50 years where she began playing the piano at church in her early teens and played until she could no longer attend due to her illness. During her service to the church, she taught youth Sunday School for many years and directed the choir. She loved all her church family. Debbie started and maintained the Backpack Program at Snow Creek Christian Church for 18 years. She cared deeply for kids that were in need of something to eat. Every week she bought supplies, put them together and had them delivered each Friday to each and every child that signed up. Surviving are her husband, Phillip Haynes; son, Ryan Haynes and wife Melissa, daughter, Stacie Carroll; grandchildren, Noah and wife Joelle, Tallis, Carsen, Colton and Maverick; parents, Curtis and Louise Washburn; brothers, Leon Washburn (Gina), Jimmy Washburn (Dana), Troy Washburn (Amy); brother-in-law, Sammy Boyd. A memorial service will be held at Snow Creek Christian Church, 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 19, 2024 . There will be no visitation.
