Deborah Ann Whitlock Hunt, age 66 of Snow Creek passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026 at her residence. She was born April 7, 1959. Deborah was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Wells; father, Jack Blankenship; and grandparents, Anderson and Gladys Reynolds. Surviving are her two sons, Andy and Kevin Gillispie; mother, Barbara Blankenship; brother, Robert Arthur (Audrey); sister, Tammy Haskins; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins. In 1977, Deborah graduated from Franklin County High School with her license in Cosmetology. She spent 20 years in the textiles industry and retired in 2024 as an Accounts Research Specialist at Collaborative Imaging. She served the Community of Snow Creek as a volunteer on the Rescue Squad and Fire Department. Deborah was an avid animal lover with a variety of hobbies. She was a pianist and enjoyed playing the guitar. She also enjoyed reading and loved sitting by a bonfire next to her family. Deborah loved baking and cooking for her family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at Boones Chapel (Snow Creek), 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2026. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Snow Creek Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
