Debra "Debbie" Hurt

Debra “Debbie” Hurt, (Wonder Woman) age 54 of Wirtz died Monday, July 3, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Loveline Powell and Horace Lee Shelton. Surviving Debbie is her husband, Kenneth Lee Hurt; daughter, Angel Keffer; sons, Michael Todd Ambrose and Christopher Cory Ambrose (Cassidy Wilson); her fur babies, brothers, Lee Shelton, Kenny Shelton and Donnie; children, Alexandra Keffer, Jacob, Elijah Jennings and Matthew Jennings; step-mother, Melisa Staaks; step-brother, Dakota Ambrose and her best friend, Lisa Welch. Funeral service will be conducted at Halesford Baptist Church 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2023 with Pastor Craig Polston and Rev. Melvin Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends one hour prior.  Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
