Debra Lynch Prillaman

Debra Lynch Prillaman, age 54 of Callaway went home to be with the Lord following a long illness on Wednesday, February 23, 2011. She worked for Lane Furniture Company for over 20 years and was currently employed at Rocky Top Wood Preservers. Debra was a sweet, caring person who never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Helen Lynch. Surviving are her loving husband of 32 years, Joe Prillaman; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Ginger Lynch; special niece, Jessica Boyce; numerous other nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles including Mary Ellen and Robert Patterson; and father-in-law, Lawrence Prillaman. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. David Codington officiating. Interment will follow in the Young Family Cemetery. Special thanks to the management and staff of Rocky Top for their care and concern for Debra. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Franklin County SPCA, 18401 Virgil Goode Highway, Rocky Mount, VA 24151. Her family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
