Derek Miguel Garin-Aguirre

Derek Miguel Garin-Aguirre, age 8 of Rocky Mount died Thursday, July 26, 2012. He was a student at Rocky Mount Elementary School. Derek was a very happy child who loved his family. Surviving are his parents, Miguel Garin and Maria Aguirre; brothers, Ramon and Bryan; sisters, Miranda and Michelle; grandparents, Adela and Genaro, Rosa and Juan. A Mass of Resurrection will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with Father Mark White officiating. Interment will follow in Resurrection Catholic Church Cemetery, Moneta. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to assist the family and be directed to Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 15 Glenwood Drive, Rocky Mount, Va. 24151.
