Dexter Leo Morgan

Dexter Leo Morgan, age 50 of Rocky Mount, also known as “Rusty” went to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 9, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, General Lee Duckett Morgan and Fannie Lynn Morgan. Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife, Rita Morgan, a native of Bedford and now of Rocky Mount. The pain that you were in is now gone and you are safe in God’s hands. I’ll never forget the good times we had I’ll hold close to my heart everyday. Also surviving are several brothers and sisters of Bristol, TN; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Thursday with Dr. Frank Schmitt officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastlake Cemetery. Special thanks to Blue Ridge Cancer Center and Carilion Hospice of Franklin County for their care and concern. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Flora Funeral and Cremation Service, Rocky Mount. “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” – 2 Timothy 4:7.
