Dixie Powell Anderson, age 69 of Rocky Mount, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip Floyd Powell and Minnie Frances McNew Powell; sister, Vivian Darlene Bradner Hunt; brother, James Julian Powell; and special friend, Claude Harrison.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Darryl and Jane Anderson; daughter and son-in-law, Melita and Donnie Puccio; sisters, Barbara Dudley, Patsy Cumby and husband Tom, Hilda Kerrick, Joanne Broughman, Debbie Robertson and husband Tony; brother, Billy Powell and friend Shirley Hicks; grandchildren, Stevie and wife Jessica Anderson, Chelsea and Bridget Anderson, Travis, Joseph, and Daniella Puccio; great-grandson, Conner; good friend, Faye Young; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Friday. Interment will follow in the Harrison Family Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
