Donald Ray Amos “Buzz” age 53 of Penhook died Sunday May 16, 2010. He had a great interest in farming, history and the Civil War. Buzz was a member of the Sons of the Confederacy. He was preceded in death by his father Henry Raymond Amos. Surviving are his wife Sandra Walker Amos, children and spouses, Amanda and Steven Chance, Allison and Jeff Fields, Taylor and Heather Amos, seven grandchildren Dylan, Anjelica, Nathaniel, Lance, Jodie, Noah and Taylee, his mother Thelma Amos, brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Gwen Amos, twin sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Mark Finney, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Vernon and Dorothy Walker, many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Boones Chapel Church of the Brethren, c/o Jeremy Adkins 16405 Snow Creek Rd. Penhook, Va. 24137 or Snow Creek Rescue Squad, 6057 Snow Creek Rd. Penhook, Va. Memorial services will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Boones Chapel Church of the Brethren with Pastor Mike Gallimore officiating.
