Donna G. Armstrong

Donna Gail Hartman Armstrong, age 72, of Rocky Mount, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2025, after a brief but intense battle with cancer. She was affectionately known by her many loyal customers as Ms. Donna where she served as coffee hostess at Sheetz in Rocky Mount for 14 years. During that time, she brightened many patrons’ mornings by providing not only coffee, but also a smile or a laugh to her coworkers and many friends she made there.

Donna was preceded in death by an infant son at birth, Donald Howard Armstrong; and her parents, Howard and Elizabeth Hartman.

She is survived by her son, Donnie Armstrong, of Rocky Mount; her daughter, Amber Armstrong of Salem; a beloved grandson, Tosh Armstrong of Rocky Mount; a cherished granddaughter, Marley Armstrong of Bedford; a sister, Sherry Forren (Jerry) of Troutville; and a brother, Marty Hartman, of Rocky Mount.

Donna was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by many. Per her request, no services will be held at this time. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
