Donna Patricia King

Donna Patricia “Patty” Anderson King, 59, of Moneta, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2008. She was born June 17, 1948, in Franklin County, Virginia. Her father, Winfred Clinton Anderson, maternal grandparents, Tom and Nora Naff, and fraternal grandparents, Harry and Georgie Anderson, preceded her in death. Patty is survived by her daughter, Michelle D. Marshall, and husband Tim; her mother, Julia Naff Jennings; her grandson, Tyler StClair, and special friend Jennifer Carr; her granddaughter, Kaleigh St. Clair, and special friend, Bradley Shively; one brother, W. Tommy Anderson, and wife Judy; step-brothers Don Jennings and wife Brenda, Greg Jennings and wife Angie, and Rick Jennings and wife Valerie; step-sister Beth Coulter and husband Russ; nieces Jennifer A. Bennett, husband Scott, and sons, Tucker and Charles; Tracy A. Brammer, husband Scott, and sons, Alden and Cason; the father of her daughter, Ricky G. King; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She graduated from Franklin County High School and was employed at Allstate for 35 years. Patty accepted Christ at a young age and became a member of the Brick Church of the Brethren in Rocky Mount Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the charity of choice. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Roy Kanode officiating. Entombment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park, Rocky Mount Her family will receive friends on Monday, March 24, 2008, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
