Doris Edwards Kingery, age 69, died Saturday morning August 11, 2007 at her residence.
She was born November 13, 1937 to the late Richard and Fanny Edwards of Roanoke.
Surviving are her husband Dan Kingery; sons Mark and Joanna Kingery of Birmingham, AL, Steve and Tammy Kingery of Rocky Mount; daughter Danya and Bennie Dillon of Union Hall; five grandchildren Kyle and Kimberly Kingery of Birmingham, AL, Ross Kingery and Fiancée Katie, Danni and Nick Daniel, Isaac and Garrett Dillon of Union Hall; two Great-Grandchildren Madison and Morgan Daniel of Birmingham, AL; brother Kenneth and Mae Edwards of Richmond, VA.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 10:00 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. J. Larry Holland and Dr. J. Cecil Riley officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Monday with her family receiving friends from 6-8 at Flora Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, her family suggests donations be made to the Salvation Army of Franklin County (Kettle Fund), Carilion Hospice Services of Franklin County, or to the charity of ones choice. Doris was a dedicated volunteer for the Salvation Army of Franklin County.
She loved her family, friends and her Lord. She will be dearly missed.
