Dorothy Bowman Angle

Dorothy Bowman Angle, age 84 formerly of Franklin County answered the call of the Master in the early hours of May 16, 2014 at the home of Dennis and Roxy Rohrer, Brookville, OH. She was the daughter of Morie and Myrtle (Bishop) Bowman, born September 24, 1929 in Franklin County, VA. She was married to Cleophas Angle in June 1953 and resided in Franklin County, VA. In May 2008, she was moved to Brookville, OH near her only child, Audrey and Marlan Mohler. She also leaves three grandsons and their families, Shawn, Seth, and Neal Mohler; sister, Janie Hubbard; brother and sister-in-law, Vaiden and Virginia Bowman; sister-in-law and husband, Arlene and Randolph Brunk. Preceding her in death was her husband in 2001; her parents; a brother, Kyle Bowman; and brother-in-law, Samuel Hubbard. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 18 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Wolf Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Church in Ohio. The Funeral Service will begin at 5 p.m. Local services will be held at Oak Hill Old German Baptist Brethren Church 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Home Brethren officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Her family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Hill Church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
