Dorothy Bernard Martin

Dorothy Bernard Martin, age 98 passed away Friday, March 21, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Clinton Martin; parents, John Silas Bernard and Hattie J. McCrickard along with many sisters and one brother. Surviving are her three children, James Earl Martin, Barbara Martin France and Johnny Keith Martin (special friend, Donna Essig); grandchildren, James Michael France and Kayla Michelle France; sister, Shiree Bernard Ashby; many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Family Cemetery (Circle Creek Road). Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
