Dove Holland Woody

Dove Holland Woody, age 100 of Rocky Mount died Monday, June 10, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Woody; and parents, John Wood and Sallie Tyree Holland. Surviving are her nieces, Sandra Paulette Young (Jeff Hollandsworth) and Patricia Gaye Holland (Jeff Oliver); and her extended family at Fork Mountain Rest Home. Mrs. Woody retired from DuPont with 25 years of service and enjoyed working with the Red Cross Blood Mobile. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
