Edith Arrington Wray “Dee”, age 76 of Rocky Mount passed away Saturday September 26, 2009. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker, her life was her family. She was born May 24, 1933, a daughter of the late Joe P. and Annie Greer Arrington. She was also preceded in death by her husband Jack Owen Wray, brother Mack Arrington, sisters Ella Hambrick, Lucille Hodges, Judy Hodges, Gertrude Hudson. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law Owen and Vikki Wray, Jackie and Melissa Wray, daughters and son-in-law Lois Wray, Cindy and Kim Thurman, Annie Mattox, grandchildren; Nikki, Sarah, Jack, Isiah, Heather and Ethan, three great-grandchildren; Haleigh, Mason and Jeremy sisters Christine Dillon, Lottie Law and Betty Hollandsworth. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Long officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
