Edward Daryl Thurman

Edward Daryl Thurman, age 52 of Glade Hill died Friday, November 22, 2013. Daryl was a lifetime member of Glade Hill Rescue Squad with over 20 years of service. Surviving are his wife Kim Thurman; children, Christy Craghead, Patrick "P.J" Thurman, Brittany Thurman; five grandchildren; sister, Sharon Swanson (Curtis). Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013 with Rev. David Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to assist with expenses to Kim Thurman, 166 Pondersa Drive, Wirtz, VA 24184. His family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8 pm at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
