Eleanor Sarah Maclachlan

Eleanor Sarah MacLachlan age 94 of Bassett formerly of Connecticut passed away Monday December 7, 2009. She was born January 2, 1915 a daughter of the late Robert and Charlotte Pentland Porterfield. She is also preceded in death by her husband Douglas MacLachlan. Surviving are children, Doris Cole and husband Gene of Bassett, VA, Richard MacLachlan and wife Betty, Judy McKecknie and husband Bruce, Lois Pepin all of Connecticut and Robert MacLachlan and wife Beverly of Vermont; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a number of nieces , nephews and other family members. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Connecticut. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or charity of choice.
