Elizabeth Berger Altice, 88 of Glade Hill went to be with the Lord Friday, April 3, 2015. She was born June 11, 1926 a daughter of the late Samuel and Vergie Allman Berger. Also, preceded in death by her husband, Charles Douglas Altice. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Judy Haley, Ronnie Altice (Diane) and Ruben Altice (Mary Ann); two grandchildren, Teresa Holley (Raymond) and Ronnie Altice, Jr. (Grace); former granddaughter-in-law, Kim Altice; step grandaughter, Brandie Spencer; great-grandchildren, Laken, Katelynn, Kaylee, Kaden, Abby, Levi, Lilly and Logan; great-great grandchildren, Colton and River; special friend, Peggy Smithers.

Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2015 with Pastor Roger Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends Sunday 6-8 pm at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
