Elizabeth Pardue Bryant

Cora Elizabeth Pardue Bryant, age 81 of Eggleston went to be with her Lord, Tuesday, July 31, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnson and Ellen Pardue; a sister, Katie Swaim; a brother, Lonnie Pardue; and seven grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Pastor, Dr. Joe Bryant; sons, Matthew (Della), Mark (Joyce); daughter, Beth Yoder (Allen); ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Bryant.  Elizabeth spent many years serving the Lord as a pastor's wife. She was a member of Riverview Baptist Church, (219 Big Stony Creek Road, Ripplemead, Va. 24150) A service of worship of the Lord and celebration of her life will be led by Pastor Shahn Wilburn at the Church Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive visitors from 1:30 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. prior to the service. Burial will be Monday, August 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Oaklawn Gardens, 3250 High Point Rd., Winston-Salem, N.C. Pastor James Reese will be in charge of the committal service.  Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount, Va.
