Elizabeth B. Faircloth Moore of Roanoke went to be with the Lord Monday, March 26, 2007.
She was a daughter of the late Thomas B., Sr. and Mary Lawless Brooks. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Alda Brooks Wright and Ola Brooks Sink; one brother Benjamin William (B.W.) Brooks.
Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband Larry H. Moore, Roanoke; her children, Michael Faircloth and wife Leslie, Florida, Patricia Tyree, Wirtz; her grandsons, Matthew V. Faircloth and his mother, Jennifer, Florida, Timmy Tyree, Wirtz; brother and sisters-in-law, Thomas B., Jr. (T.B.) and Marie Brooks, Rocky Mount, Michaela (Mickie) Brooks, New Jersey; sister and brother-in-law, Gloria Brooks and Buford Dillon; several nieces and nephews including a special niece Winifred Wright.
Graveside services will be conducted from Sandy Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, 1444 Bonbrook Mill Road, Rocky Mount, Virginia 2 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2007 with Rev. Joe Dillon officiating.
The family will accept flowers or memorial contributions may be made to Sandy Ridge Baptist Church Building Fund, 1444 Bonbrook Mill Road, Rocky Mount, VA 24151.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 – 8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
