Elizabeth Hall Hartman

Elizabeth H. Hartman, age 84 of Rocky Mount passed away at her home on Tuesday, October 30, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; an infant grandson, Donald Howard Armstrong; her parents, Robert and Louise Hall; brothers, Buford Hall, Nelson Hall and Claude Hall; and sisters, Marie Altice and Naomi Prillaman. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Armstrong of Rocky Mount and Sherry Forren (Jerry) of Troutville; her son, Marty Hartman of the home; and her sister, Coreene Young. She also leaves behind her two grandchildren, Donald Armstrong III of Rocky Mount and Amber Maiorana (Joe) of Quinton, Virginia; two great-grandchildren, Tosh and Marley Armstrong; and many nieces and nephews. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Graveside services will be conducted from Franklin Memorial Park 2 p.m. Friday with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating.
