Elizabeth May Lankford

Elizabeth May Lankford, age 87 of Rocky Mount passed away Saturday October 6, 2007. Miss Lankford was the daughter of the late Donnell P. and Lessie S. Lankford. She was retired from J.P. Stevens Company and was a member of Rocky Mount United Methodist Church. Surviving are cousins, including James Gregg of Bedford. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rocky Mount United Methodist Church, 35 N. Main St., Rocky Mount, VA 24151 or to the Franklin County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 147, Rocky Mount, VA 24151. Graveside services will be conducted from Sherwood Memorial Park 1:00 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Robert Edwards officiating. Her family will be receiving friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at Rocky Mount United Methodist Church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
