Elizabeth Jeanette Pigg

Elizabeth Jeanette Pigg, age 80 of Ferrum passed away Friday, October 25, 2024. She was born October 21, 1944, a daughter of the late Bernice “Bun” and Dorothy Radford Richards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Pigg; sister, Ardena Atkins; niece and nephews, Paula Sanders, David Sanders, and Jonathan Atkins. Surviving are her son, Robert “Bobby” Maxie; grandsons, Derrick Eugene Maxie and Dustin Gerald Maxie; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Lois, Diann, Velma (Ronnie); several nieces and nephews, especially Samantha and Dale. A graveside service will be held at Henry Memorial Park, 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
