Ella Mae Jones

Ella Mae Jones, age 75 of Rocky Mount, Va. passed away Saturday, September 18, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie T. Jones. Ella is survived by her loving sons, Edward and Cecil Jones, both of Rocky Mount; her brother, Woodrow Yopp of Radford, Va.; granddaughter, Brittany Sawyers of Roanoke; great-grandson, Caleb; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends including Beverly Whitlow, Elaine Harmon and Ellen Morris. Private graveside services will be conducted from Franklin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Franklin County Rescue Squad, c/o Captain Lisa McCaul, P.O. 147, Rocky Mount, Virginia 24151.
