Ellen Hall Mcghee

Ellen Hall McGhee, age 86 of Rocky Mount died Thursday, December 2, 2021. She was born November 4, 1935 a daughter of the late Spencer and Maude Thurman Hall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack (Whitey) McGhee; daughter, Delilah Sue McGhee; son, James McGhee; four brothers and five sisters. Surviving are her children, Penny (Eddie) Altice, Jeff (Sharon) McGhee; daughter-in-law, Ann McGhee; two sisters, Peggy (Gilbert) Hodges, Betty Jean Hood; grandchildren, James Altice, Maria Cipparella, Angela Mattox, Freddie McGhee, Jeffrey McGhee, Amber McGhee, Adam McGhee, and Jackie McGhee; great-grandchildren, Courtney, Kayle, Hunter, Brittany, Rylan, Andrew, Mason, Mattox and Madison; great-great-grandchildren, Zyena, River, Ava and Harrison. A very special thank you to hospice nurses, Sharon and Susan. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Monday with Pastor Eddie Hawks officiating. Interment will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
