Elmer Lewis Boitnott

Elmer Lewis Boitnott, age 93 formerly of Boones Mill, Va. went peacefully to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 11, 2011. Mr. Boitnott was preceded in death by his first wife, Sarah Louise Boitnott; his second wife, Eva Altice Boitnott; and his son, Eugene Boitnott. Surviving are his three daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and “Pap” Hodges, Becky and Dean Bolling, Betty and David Lawrence; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Spurgeon and Mildred Boitnott, Basil and Linda Boitnott; step-children, Clay and Loretta Altice, Kenneth and Ann Altice, Jan and Colleen Altice, Justin and Janet Altice; six grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren. The family would like to express heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Red Oak Manor in Rocky Mount for the special care extended to our loved one during his residency. Also, our sincere thanks to Boones Mill Baptist Church for their Sunday morning services at Red Oak. Funeral services will be conducted from Redeeming Life Pentecostal Holiness Church 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor David Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
