Elwood Andrew “Woody” Blankenship age 80 of Roanoke passed away Thursday January 22, 2009. Surviving are his Children Teresa Blankenship, Jimmy Blankenship, George Blankenship, Alan Blankenship, B.J. Saul and Cheryl Chapman and eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. His sisters Mary Blankenship, Kay Blankenship, his brothers Buford Blankenship, Charles Blankenship. Graveside Service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday January 24, 2009 at Mountain View Memorial Park, with Pastor Chris Evans.
