Elzie Holland Jones

Elzie Holland Jones, age 99, of Glade Hill, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Jones; father and mother, William E. and Martha B. Holland; sisters, Mattie H. Robertson and Sylvia H. Meador and brother, Thomas Holland. Surviving are her daughter, Margaret D. Hughes; her son , Cecil Virgil Jones, (Joyce),granddaughters, Karon W. Dyer (Don); Kathy Pagans (Jimmy); grandsons , William Adron Willis ( Rhonda) and Barry Jones (Dana), Surviving also are five great-grandchildren and eight great-great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2014 with Rev. Donald R. Dyer officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will be receiving friends one prior to service time. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
