Emily Grace Keene

Emily Grace Keene, age 24 of Callaway passed away Monday, May 5, 2025. Emily lived life with a fierce determined heart. Poderosa! She loved fully, authentically, and with grace. She was a self-taught musician and a licensed esthetician.

Emily, a daughter of the King with the voice of an angel was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, James and Donna Keene, her maternal great-grandparents Rev. R. B. & Greta McPherson, and young cousin A.J. Bailey.

She is the cherished daughter of Michelle and Josh Fralin of Callaway, and Nathan Keene (Brenda) of Tazewell; granddaughter of Rev. Bill & Teresa Pagen; sister of Makayla Keene (Logan Rose), Nicholas Fralin, and Dustin Keene; and special brothers Shawn Crews and Brandon Dalton; aunt to Olivia Thomas; "mom" to her German Shephard Max; niece of Heather Hollandsworth (Marty) and Stephanie May (Billy); and loved by many great aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Celebration of life services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel 3:00 p.m.  Saturday, May 10, 2025. Her family will receive visitors beginning at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Bill Pagen and Rev. Robert B. McPherson II officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her Mammaw at the McPherson family cemetery in Callaway. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
