Erick Keath Custis

Erick Keath Custis, age 52 of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 7, 2024 in Rocky Mount, Va. He was born on September 23, 1972 in Martinsville, Va to the parents of Elmer Houston Sorah and Kittie Marie Custis. He was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Bessie W. Hodge; grandfather, Harry C. Hodge, Sr.; father, Elmer Houston; and mother, Kittie Marie Custis. Erick graduated from Magna Vista High School. Following high school Erick served in the U.S. Navy. Erick was a member of the King Soloman Lodge 633 in South Carolina. Erick is survived by his beloved wife, Larissia Casey Custis; one son, Kei Hall of Tacoma, Washington; three step-children, Cheyanna Nibblett, Kendra Carter, LeShea Lewis all of North Charleston, SC; one grandchild, Kaiser Redden of North Charleston, SC; one brother, Derick Custis of Roanoke, VA; one sister, Valeria Custis of Lynchburg, VA; one nephew, Vamar Custis of Bedford, VA; one uncle, Jessie Hodge of Martinsville, VA; and one aunt, Rosa Wheeler of Reidsville, NC. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of East Martinsville 1 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2024. Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
