Erlyene D. Hite, age 79 of Rocky Mount, died Wednesday, October 1, 2008.
She retired from Eli Lilly after 22 years of service and was a member of Oak Grove Church of the Brethren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles K. and Mabel Stamper White.
Mrs. Hite is survived by her husband of 63 years, Paul A. Hite; children, Gary Hite, Brenda Hite, Bruce and Darlene Hite, Ralph Hite; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five brothers; one sister; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2008 with Rev. Richard Thomas and Rev. Curtis English officiating.
Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Roanoke.
The family will receive friends Friday, October 3, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
