Ernest Daniel Flora

Ernest Daniel Flora formerly of Boones Mill passed away on October 31, 2015 at Heritage Green Assisted Living & Memory Care. He was born on January 17, 1925 to the late Edgar and Margie (Peters) Flora. He was preceded in death by two siblings Lloyd P. Flora and Cleo Flora.
Ernest is survived by his wife of 65 years, Maybelle Rakes Flora and daughters Joyce Elder (husband Doug) and Brenda Bloyd (husband Roger) and one grandchild Brittany Bloyd. Ernest has three surviving siblings: Norman Flora (wife Lois), Lorene Wood (husband Melvin) and Nina Flora.
The family will receive friends at Bethlehem Church of the Brethren on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 1:00 pm. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm. A graveside service will follow.
