Ernestine R. Hodges

Ernestine R. Hodges, age 89 of Glade Hill went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 24, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Roy Hodges; parents, Willie T. and Annie Pearl Robertson; two sisters; and four brothers. Surviving are her loving son, James R. Robertson; seven grandchildren including granddaughter, Cynthia A. Robertson; 22 great-grandchildren including great-grandsons, Michael and Isaac Glavan who she loved very much; sisters, Dorothy Forbes, Louise R. Hammock, Betty Young; brother, Aubrey Robertson; and three step-children, Roger Hodges, Donnie Hodges and Joyce Willie. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Sunday with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in the Hodges Family Cemetery. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
