Esther Sink

Esther Holland Sink, age 80 of Rocky Mount, went home to meet her Lord and Savior in Heaven October 9, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Bruddie and Emma Holland. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Stafford W. Sink; three children; one grandchild; six sisters; and seven brothers. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Surviving are her one son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Susan Sink; three daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Howard Shively, Barbara and Steve Jones, Martha and Robert Adkins; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Monday with Dr. William Shively officiating. Interment will follow in the Holland Family Cemetery. Her family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
