Ethel Anderson

Mary Ethel Anderson, age 98 of Rocky Mount passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Anderson was born on January 7, 1920 to the late Beverly Moses and Whealer Louisa Perdue Eames; she was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Haywood Anderson; daughter, Mary Louise; son, Noel; grandson, Billy Jay Hodges; son-in-law, William Jay Hodges; seven sisters; and nine brothers. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her daughter, Joyce Hodges; grandson, Stacy Hodges; granddaughters, Latonya Trotter, Shirley Jane Anderson; two great-grandchildren, Lyric Schuellein, and C.J. Trotter; great-great grandchild, Lillian Rose. Graveside services will be conducted at Anderson Family Cemetery, 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018 with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount and other times at the home of Joyce Hodges.
