Eula Mae Brown, age 82 of Rocky Mount, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell “Jigs” and Bessie Pauline Altice; husband, Donald Brown; sons, Ricky, Dennis, and David Brown; brother, Jerry Altice; and grandson, David Anthony Brown. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Timmy (Missy) Brown; sister, Frances Lynch; daughter-in-law, Lisa Brown; grandchildren, Christy (Stephen) Floyd, Donald, Jessica, and Jacob Brown; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Olivia Brown, Brooklyn and Kennedy Floyd, and Kylan Brown Davis; special aunt, Dessie Moore; many other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Eula Mae was a strong beloved wife, mother, grandmother and a devoted friend who loved her family dearly. She was a member of Henry Fork Church of the Brethren. Eula Mae enjoyed working in her garden, working at beauty salon, and spoiling her dog, Bryce. We will miss her dearly. The family would like to thank Carilion Hospice for all of their care and concern. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow at Henry Fork Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
