Eula Mae Edwards English, 97, of Rocky Mount, Virginia, died Thursday, January 29, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Drucilla Via Edwards and Thomas Abraham Edwards; by her husband, Edgar Ralph English; and by five brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by her sister, Lillian D. Edwards of Rocky Mount and by several nieces and nephews.
She was a faithful member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church and was a dedicated public school teacher for thirty years. The family will always be grateful for the tender and loving care she received while in residence at TLC Adult Care.
A graveside service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2009 with Dr. Jack Corvin officiating.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Rocky Mount Baptist Church, 85 West Church St., Rocky Mount, VA 24151.
Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
