Eva Hodges Robertson

Eva Hodges Robertson, age 86 of Rocky Mount died Thursday, May 19, 2011. She was born November 2, 1924 a daughter of the late Doc and Docie Hodges. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Odell Law; and brothers, Billy, Ben, Nelson, Noel, Roscoe Hodges. Surviving are her husband, Edmond C. Robertson; children, Kenneth and Dianne Robertson, Peggy Housman, Linda Robertson, Carol and Moose Hall, Sheila Robertson; grandchildren, Kim Ledbetter, Cindy Jones, Cristi Abner, Josh Hall; great-grandchildren, Brandon Jones, Kendra Ledbetter, Dalton Turner, Kelsie Ledbetter, Madison Turner; and sisters, Excie Furrow, Shelby Jones and Viola Hodges. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Ronald Coleman and Pastor Eddie Hawks officiating. Interment will follow in the Hodges Family Cemetery. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
