Eva Marie Shealor

Eva Marie Shealor, age 91 of Bassett and formerly of Salem died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the home of her daughter. She was born March 29, 1921 a daughter of the late Taylor C. and Sallie M. Butler Moran. She was also preceded in death by her husband James E. Shealor; brother, Curtis Moran; two sisters, Frances Arthur and Evelyn Young. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Sally and Terry Massey; granddaughters, Heather Boardwine and husband Blake, Whitney Chaffin and husband Cameron; grandson, Matthew King; great-grandchildren, Zach Wilson, Seth Wilson and Isabella Boardwine; numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to caregivers, Yvonne Starling, Michelle Hodges, Donna Anderson and Lois Scott. Memorial services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor Eddie Hawks officiating. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
