Evelyn G. Loree

Evelyn (Marnie) Griffin Loree of Henry, VA, passed away on Tuesday, February 5 , 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband, C. Wayne Loree of Henry, VA; her three children, Andrew Wayne Loree of Prescott, AZ, Evelyn Mechelle Loree of Pearl River, LA, Jeffrey Minton Loree of Spring Hope, NC; granddaughter, Christina Loree of Pearl River, LA, and brothers, Major Walter C. Griffin and William V. Griffin of New Bern, NC. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Vance Griffin and Evelyn Moore Griffin of New Bern, NC. She is survived by two great grandsons and many nephews and friends. Memorial services have been rescheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at St. James United Methodist Church in Ferrum, VA. Per her wishes, there will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, it is requested donations be made to St. James UMC for a memorial at the church in Ferrum, VA.
