Everette Bayes Bussey

Everette Bayes Bussey, was born on July 19, 1947, and went to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. He was an avid New York Yankee fan. He was the son of the late Jim and Claudine Bussey; he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Dalton, and Euell; and a sister, Daisy. Surviving are his two sons, Wallace (Beth) Bussey, and Terry (Jesika) Bussey; eight grandchildren, Elisha, Mariah, Hannah, Ireland, Kaylee, Kynzlee, River, and Kaynan Bussey. Also surviving is a special brother, Jimmy Cross and his wife Susie. Everette is also survived by his two sisters, Bessie Laprade, and Juanita Cooper; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel, 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018 with Rev. Roger Jones and Dr. Jackie Spence officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, with military honors. His family will receive friends 6 – 8 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
