Fannie B. Morris, age 85 of Rocky Mount, died Wednesday, September 24, 2008.
Mrs. Morris was born July 31, 1923 a daughter of the late Euell Eugene and Lorina Hartwell Robertson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Warren Morris; son, Robert Allen Morris; daughter, Norma Sue Morris.
She is survived by her children, Roger Lee Morris, Raymond Edward and Anita Morris, Mildred Anne Dalton, Doris Jean Hodges, Katherine Southern, Mary and Bill Lawson of Spencer, James Eugene (Jimmy) and Frances Morris; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one brother, Russell and Olga Robertson of Washington, D.C..
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Saturday with Dr. William Shively officiating.
Her family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
