Farest Doffice Dillon, age 82 of Rocky Mount died Wednesday, January 15, 2014. Surviving are his wife, Sandra Dillon; children, Forest D. Dillon, Debra Joaquin, Robin Arrington, Herbie Dillon, Brenda Dillon; grandchildren, Robin Arrington, Herbie Dillon, Wayne Hodges, Michelle Newman; great-grandchildren, Owen Hodges, Luke Newman, Livie Newman; sisters-in-law, Eula Dillon, Ruby Dillon; double first cousin, Vernard Dillon; many nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
